FOUNDER AND CEO
Lt Col (Retired) Hunter K. Jones is the Founder & CEO of Jones & Associates – Consulting & Concierge Services, LLC. He brings nearly 30 years of experience in security, investigations, intelligence, cybersecurity, & business development across the public & private sectors.
Prior to founding Jones & Associates, Hunter served as Senior Account Executive for Business Development & Sales at Clarity Innovations & previously as Director of Business Development & Sales at Liberty Source, PBC. His leadership experience also includes serving as Business Development Manager at Babel Street & Vice President of Federal Programs at RedVector.
Throughout his private-sector career, Hunter has served as a Strategic Security Consultant supporting organizations including Chameleon Consulting Group, Fortem Technologies, System High, Babel Street, & Clearspeed. He also worked with Insight Global as Security Operations Center (SOC) Leader within Penn Medicine’s Information Security Division, providing critical cybersecurity leadership & operational support.
Before entering the consulting sector, Hunter served as Government Security Leader for The Boeing Company in Ridley Park, Pennsylvania, & Patuxent River, Maryland, where he oversaw industrial security programs supporting critical defense initiatives. Prior to Boeing, he was an Associate with Booz Allen Hamilton, supporting the U.S. Coast Guard Counterintelligence Service, the Department of Homeland Security Counterintelligence Mission Center, & U.S. Special Operations Command Central (SOCCENT).
As an active-duty U.S. Air Force officer, Hunter served as a career Special Agent with the Air Force Office of Special Investigations (OSI). During his distinguished military career, he led & participated in missions involving narcotics investigations, major felony investigations, executive protection, counterintelligence, counterespionage, counterterrorism, counterinsurgency, human trafficking investigations, & child exploitation operations.
Hunter deployed twice as a Special Agent in Charge & Commander during Operations Iraqi Freedom & Enduring Freedom. He also served as Global Security Director and Personal Security Advisor to Air Force Chief of Staff General John Jumper. Later, as Special Agent in Charge at Hill Air Force Base, Utah, he commanded a 24-member investigative unit while working closely with senior military leadership & the U.S. Attorney’s Office to support complex investigative operations.
In his final active-duty assignment, Hunter served at U.S. Central Command in the Security Cooperation Division, where he led the Plans, Programs & Policy Directorate. In this role, he helped strengthen the security capabilities & capacities of partner nations throughout the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility.
Hunter was commissioned into the U.S. Air Force in 1997 after graduating from the U.S. Naval Academy with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science. While attending the Academy, he played varsity football after first competing at the Naval Academy Preparatory School in Newport, Rhode Island.
He later earned a Master of Science in Strategic Intelligence from the National Defense Intelligence College at the Defense Intelligence Agency in 2007. In 2010, he completed a Master of Arts in Military Operational Art and Science, with an emphasis in International Security Studies, from the Air Command & Staff College at Maxwell Air Force Base.

CO-FOUNDER AND COO
Tara W. Jones, a retired Special Agent with the Defense Criminal Investigative Service (DCIS), is a distinguished investigative professional currently serving as a Co-Founder & COO at Jones & Associates – Consulting & Concierge Services, LLC. With over two decades of experience navigating complex criminal, counterintelligence, fraud, & background investigations, as well as research technology protection, Ms. Jones brings expertise to high-stakes investigations, specializing in financial crimes, fraud detection, & comprehensive threat mitigation.
Ms. Jones’s career in federal law enforcement began with the Immigration and Naturalization Service in San Diego working at the San Ysidro Port of Entry before continuing her career with the Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI). Following an initial assignment at Andrews Air Force Base focusing on general criminal investigations, she transitioned to a prestigious post at the United States Embassy in Paris, France. In this capacity, she leveraged her language capabilities in French to facilitate critical liaison and cooperation between U.S. & allied intelligence & law enforcement partners, ensuring the security of Department of War personnel & assets across France, Morocco, & Tunisia. She took a brief respite from government service and worked with Homeland Solutions, a homeland security contracting firm focused on working alongside the newly established Department of Homeland Security after the 9/11 attacks on our nation. She subsequently worked with Kroll Government Services conducting background investigations for government personnel security clearance suitability.
Ms. Jones later re-joined government service with the Defense Criminal Investigative Service (DCIS), where she led significant investigations into procurement & healthcare fraud impacting the U.S. military. Upon her retirement from federal service, she transitioned her knowledge into the field of education, serving as a French and Spanish teacher at an independent all-boys Catholic school. Today, she combines her background in international liaison, complex investigations, counterintelligence, security & risk mitigation, threat & vulnerability assessments, & education to provide sophisticated consultancy services to her clients.
